Central Equatoria State HIV/AIDS Commission - Juba
I am Hon. Marino Duku, the chairperson of the Central Equatoria State HIV/AIDS Independent Commission in Juba. Central Equatoria is the capital of South Sudan and one of its ten states. The commission was established in the state during the revitalized government. My role as the head of the commission is as a policy maker because I am a politician brought in by the agreement. When I took over, I realized the importance of this institution and how much I can participate in helping my community fight HIV/AIDS. When I was nominated as the Champion of the Condom, I saw myself helping a lot and now I need to know more about it.
