Dr Kyeremeh Atuahene, the Director General of the Ghana AIDS Commission is a public health specialist with 29 years of proven experience in reproductive health programme design and management. He has a wealth of experience in strategic management and working with diverse stakeholders in advancing multi-sectoral response to HIV and AIDS. He has for nearly three decades been a strong advocate and credible voice on HIV prevention in Ghana and the West African sub-region. As prevention champion, he leads prevention interventions at both strategic and operational levels. He will continue to seek opportunities and build stronger partnerships to increase uptake and use of combination prevention service in Ghana.
Mariam is a Programme Specialist at UNFPA, where she works to improve SRHR and HIV outcomes in Tanzania. She has over 17 years of experience in Leadership and Programme Management in the health sector focusing on health system strengthening and policy analysis. She is a trained Medical Doctor and Public Health Specialist, with Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from Maastricht University and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Dar es Salaam. Mariam is a top-notch communicator with excellent strategic planning, and multi-stakeholder’s engagement skills.
Dr Oluwafunke is a trained medical doctor and epidemiologist with over 15 years' work expedience across health systems, communicable and non-communicable disease programme areas. She currently leads the HIV team in the WHO country office, Nigeria to provide strategic leadership and technical assistance to the Government of on HIV, Viral hepatitis and STI diseases. She loves reading, mentoring, travel and dancing.
Dr. Babatunde Adelekan is accomplished Public Health Consultant; Sexual, Maternal, Reproductive and Adolescent Health Expert and Programme Manager with over 2 decades of experience and expertise in development, humanitarian, educational initiative, monitoring and evaluation of public health programs, community development, inclusive programming at the state and national level, girl child advocacy and campaigns. Experienced in Child Protection, Childhood Development, HIV/AIDS Prevention, Vulnerable/Leaving no one behind programming, Adolescent, Youth and Women development and empowerment initiatives.
I am qualified Medical Doctor, specialized in Paediatrics and Child Health. I have been involved in HIV program for more than 10 years now. I am currently leading the HIV prevention program at the Ministry of Health. My role is to coordinate the implementation of the HIV prevention strategies. This includes ensuring the high HIV risk population have access to the HIV prevention services. These includes the ABYM/AGYW and KPs. The interventions includes condom distribution, PEP/PrEP and harm reduction.
Elizabeth Ndakidemi is a seasoned consultant and social scientist with over 20 years of experience in gender, health, and development. She has worked extensively with NGOs, UN agencies, and government bodies to design, implement, and evaluate impactful programs. Her expertise spans research, monitoring and evaluation, and policy development, with a strong focus on advancing the rights and well-being of women, children, and vulnerable populations in Tanzania and beyond.

Au PNLS, je suis chef de service IST, auteur du système de surveillance de la distribution des préservatifs, de l’évaluation rapide de l’utilisation des préservatifs (ERUP), de l’outil d’audit de la distribution et de l’estimation des besoins en condoms et gels lubrifiants des ONG, du document de norme et procédure révisé, et du nouveau plan CCP 2024-2028.
Mx. Emmanuella David-ette is an Intersectional/inclusive Feminist, human rights advocate and Intersex/Trans lady living her reality in Nigeria. She has a Bachelors’ degree as an Archivist & Information Scientist. She is also a certificated Psychosocial Counseling / Therapist, and believes in a Gender-sensitive Governance. She has worked within the civil society movement for 13 years and still counting while addressing gender based violence and human rights violations, mental health issues with a special focus on transgender, intersex and gender non-conforming persons in Nigeria, West Africa. She was also recognized as one of the honorees on the Leading Ladies Africa (LLA) list 2022, making her one of Nigeria’s most inspiring women in Nigeria breaking boundaries within the mainstream media and uniting everyone using an Intersectional/Inclusive Feminist approach. As a South to South Learning Network (SSLN) champion, she has worked in various capacities with NACA, UNDP, NHRC and other bodies while focusing on human rights, gender based violence, mental health and a holistic healthcare services through the use of the power of positive narratives and putting a human face around sexual and gender diversities.

J'occupe le poste d'Assistante en charge des Usagers de Drogues, des Personnes Transgenres et des Personnes en situation de Handicap au PNLS, qui est une structure étatique parce que rattachée au Ministère de la Santé, de l'Hygiène Publique et de la Couverture Maladie Universelle en Côte d'Ivoire.
En effet, je suis chargée de coordonner toutes les interventions menées par les acteurs de mise en œuvre à l'endroit de ces cibles.
Le SSLN m'a permis de participer à plusieurs voyages d'apprentissage dans d'autres pays, qui m'ont beaucoup aidée, et les expériences de ces autres pays ainsi que ma participation aux différents webinaires m'ont permis d'améliorer mes performances dans les différentes tâches qui me sont attribuées dans l'exercice de mes fonctions au PNLS.

Over 5 years of consolidated experience working as United Nations Volunteer (UNV) under the United Nations Development Programme in Zambia, 5 years as District HIV and AIDS Coordinating Advisor and currently Provincial AIDS Coordinating Advisors (PACA) under National HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Council for the last 7 years. I have worked at provincial level coordinating Civil Society, Non governmental organizations, Faith based organizations, and Public & Private Sector HIV and AIDS prevention and gender mainstreaming. In my current role, I facilitate joint actions and creating synergies with key partners to advance the HIV and AIDS response.
